Because B2W2 has about 300 Pokemon and excluding overlap, Gen 4 evolutions, legendaries etc etc it works out to about 270ish which depending on location and what not can easily be trimmed down to fit in to 251.Īlso I thought it would be interesting to have the world and setting of Unova but with only Pokemon from the first 2 Gens to add a sense of old school clashing with new school.

I was inspired by this and decided to make a sort of spiritual successor. Recently I played a hack called Pokemon White 151 which replaces all the Gen 5 Pokemon with Gen 1 Pokemon.
